Our Mission

The mission of the fellowship program in pediatric otolaryngology is to train individuals who have outstanding potential to achieve successful and productive careers in academic medicine. The educational experience is exceptionally broad. In depth coverage is offered in the areas of cleft and craniofacial surgery, all aspects of airway reconstruction, pediatric otology and neurotology including cochlear implantation, management of head and neck benign and malignant tumors, and the spectrum of general pediatric otolaryngology cases. Clinical training is complemented by a broad spectrum of research opportunities. The breadth and depth of clinical training, exposure to basic science research and the opportunity to do translational research provides the pediatric fellows with unparalleled training for a career in academic medicine.
